How does SmartRez work?​

Each furnished home has a Security Panel and a SmartRez Panel near the front door.  Touch the SmartRez panel (group access only) for the menu.  Each menu item (bed, rug, couch, etc.) will have 3 versions to choose from.  The 3 versions look the same, but contain different animations.  "Display" has only single animations, "PG" has single and PG couples animations, and "Adult" has single, PG and adult couples animations. The tenant can change versions as they wish, or choose "Clear" to remove the item completely. Some SmartRez menus also contain a choice of seasonal decor items.  Homes available to rent will have "Display" versions, which may be changed as soon as the tenant has paid the rental box and joined the group.

Exclusive SmartRez Feature

A SmartRez feature has been added as an extra measure to deter unauthorized visitors from using the animated furniture in our furnished homes.  The SmartRez menu is only accessible to group members, and allows tenants to rez different versions of animated furniture (Adult, PG, Display). Tenants are encouraged to use this feature, especially if they do not enable security, or do not want guests or friends using the animated furniture while the tenant is away or offline.

Group Membership Required

Tenants are required to join a Second Life In-World Group in order to rez objects and use certain security features.  PLEASE make sure you have a group slot available BEFORE paying the rental box.  Once payment is made, you will receive an automatic invitation from "Welcome Verity" to join "Vista Del Mar Rentals" group. Check your notifications (not chat) and join the group.
